Communities in Bloom Ontario is designed to meet the needs of Ontario participants. While the Communities in Bloom program is a national affair, each province has a provincial edition from which winners move onto the national competition phase.
Whether you are a past participant or want to get your town involved, we are here to answer your questions and guide you through this process.
Getting involved is simple, fun and easy. Ontario is a beautiful place and there is a plethora of towns, cities and municipalities bursting with beauty and pride. All you need is community involvement and pride in your town.

Visiting a garden is like taking a trip across space... and time. As earthly expressions of a particular era, climate or culture, gardens contain secrets longing to be discovered. When you travel the VIA Rail Garden Route, you are opening yourself to the secrets of Canada's most astonishing flower gardens. Go for the pleasure of cultivating your senses, your passions... or even your garden!

Located from Victoria to Halifax, the Garden Route is a series of 15 magnificent gardens and 30 Communities in Bloom communities, all winners of the prestigious 5-Bloom award. This year, many of the Feature Garden destinations have added a number of Garden Attractions you might also like to visit so that you can maximize your ‘garden experience.’
